Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health, Inc., headquartered in Massachusetts, seeks an Executive Director to lead procedural supply chain operations across ORs, Cath Lab/EP, and related units. This role focuses on high-risk, high-value items, inventory turns, and compliance with Joint Commission, OSHA, and FDA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
• CMRP preferred, Lean Certification Green or Black Belt preferred.
• 8–10 years of progressive supply chain and operational leadership experience in a complex, regulated healthcare environment.
• Deep familiarity with perioperative/OR supply chains, Cath Lab/EP, Interventional Radiology, Endoscopy, and inventory management systems.
• Experience directing multiple sites, business units, or cross-functional clinical supply chain programs.

Responsibilities

• Directs procedural supply chain operations across ORs, Cath Lab/EP, Interventional Radiology, Endoscopy, and other procedural units to ensure product availability, service reliability, inventory accuracy, and timely case support.
• Bridges procurement, perioperative services, nursing, physicians, clinical leadership, value analysis, contracting, and local hospital operations to align products, workflows, and priorities.
• Partners with Value Analysis Teams, physicians, and clinical leadership to standardize medical products, devices, implants, and equipment while maintaining clinical buy-in and patient safety.
• Oversees day-to-day procurement support, point-of-use systems, inventory management, consignment programs, and distribution.
• Develops backorder response protocols, consignment oversight, high-risk item tracking, and resiliency planning.
