Hilton Madison Monona Terrace is seeking a Director of Housekeeping to lead all facets of the department across the resort, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in a fast-paced environment.

You will recruit and develop staff, manage budgets and labor costs, monitor performance, and collaborate with Front Office to optimize operations, while upholding Hilton's service brand and driving guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication is required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and staffing for Housekeeping to ensure coverage and operational excellence.
• Provide strategic leadership, coaching, training, and development for housekeeping staff and managers.
• Oversee performance management, evaluations, and career development planning.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, labor costs, linen inventories, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance throughout guestrooms and public areas.
• Drive guest satisfaction by delivering exceptional housekeeping services and addressing service opportunities.
• Maintain accurate room status reporting and collaborate with Front Office and Rooms Division leadership.
• Lead departmental meetings and communicate KPIs, standards, safety initiatives, and priorities.
• Analyze performance metrics and implement action plans to improve results and meet budgets.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to support operational excellence.
