Job summary

Hilton Madison Monona Terrace is seeking a hands-on Hotel Maintenance Technician to support daily hotel operations through preventative maintenance, timely repairs, and meticulous documentation. You will work across guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to keep the property welcoming, functional, and guest-ready at all times.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 3-4 years of general maintenance experience, and strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• English reading and writing required.
• 3-4 years of maintenance/repair experience preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and estimate materials.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work weekends or holidays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance across hotel.
• Inspect and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting.
• Respond to maintenance requests timely.
• Maintain logs and documentation.
• Keep tools and work areas clean and safe.
• Follow safety procedures and support engineering operations.
• Assist with minor repairs in rooms and public spaces.
