Job summary

Barnard College seeks an Executive Director for Barnard Next, reporting to the Vice President for Community Engagement and Lifelong Success. This role drives strategic leadership and operational excellence for non-degree programs, summer sessions, and community learning initiatives across multiple modalities.

You will oversee budgeting, partnerships, marketing, and enrollment strategies, ensuring program quality and sustainable growth while aligning with the College’s academic mission.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required or equivalent.
• Proven track record in managing higher education programs.
• Strong financial oversight, budgeting and revenue forecasting skills.
• Experience launching and scaling credit-bearing and non-degree offerings.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision and operational leadership for Barnard Next.
• Drive strategy, and growth for Summer Session, Pre-College and Lifelong Learning.
• Lead contract negotiations, partnerships and program execution.
• Oversee budgeting, staffing, risk management and KPI modeling.
