Job summary

Legend Biotech is seeking an Executive Director, Multiple Myeloma Pipeline Lead for the Clinical Development team based in Somerset, NJ. This role provides strategic, scientific, and medical leadership across a portfolio of MM assets, from early to late-stage development, and drives integrated development plans and regulatory interactions.

You will lead cross-functional teams, shape study design, ensure data quality, and support governance with strong communication to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• MD, MD‑PhD or equivalent medical degree required.
• Board certification in hematology or oncology required.
• Minimum of 6 years of clinical development experience in biopharmaceutical industry and/or academic medicine.
• Substantial expertise in multiple myeloma and cell therapy is strongly preferred.
• Experience contributing to IND submissions and regulatory interactions.
• Strong collaboration and leadership in a matrixed, global environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, scientific, and medical leadership for Legend Biotech’s Multiple Myeloma Pipeline across early to late stages.
• Develop integrated clinical development plans aligned with regulatory expectations and patient needs.
• Lead first-in-human, dose-escalation, dose-expansion, and proof-of-concept studies.
• Guide governance discussions and decision-making with senior leadership on asset prioritization.
• Ensure data-driven decision making with translational, biomarker, and safety data integration.
• Mentor the clinical development team and promote a culture of scientific rigor and ethics.
