Job summary

A Home Away From Home Assisted Living & Memory Care in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead daily operations of our boutique memory care community. This leadership role drives resident care, regulatory adherence, staff development, and occupancy growth.

The Executive Director will mentor department managers, oversee budgeting and performance, and foster a culture of compassion and excellence. Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the assisted living and memory care community.
• Ensure compliance with Virginia Department of Social Services regulations and company policies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop department managers and staff.
• Maintain high standards of resident care, safety, and quality of life.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and employee performance.
• Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and expense management.
• Build relationships with residents, families, referral partners, and community organizations.
• Support admissions, marketing, and occupancy growth initiatives.
• Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain survey readiness and licensing compliance.
