Job summary

Encore Village Wilmington, a senior living community, seeks an Executive Director to lead all aspects of operations, resident care, dining, and facilities. The role requires ensuring regulatory compliance and strong financial performance while guiding staff toward exemplary service.

The ideal candidate will have DE LNHA licensure, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and at least five years of senior leadership experience in senior living.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or related field.
• Current and active LNHA License in DE is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience in senior living.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and financial management principles in senior care.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to the property and foster a culture of excellence.
• Oversee day-to-day operations including resident care, dining, facilities, and administration.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations through policies and programs.
• Collaborate with department heads to optimize efficiency and occupancy.
• Build relationships with residents, families, staff and partners to support a caring environment.
• Drive occupancy, revenue growth and overall financial performance.
• Lead recruitment, training, and development of a high-performing team.
• Report operational performance and metrics to regional leadership.
