Job summary

Encore Village Wilmington is actively seeking an Executive Director to lead our senior living community in Delaware. You will oversee resident care, dining, facilities, and administrative functions, ensuring the highest standards of care and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in healthcare administration or related field, 5+ years of senior leadership in senior living, and a current LNHA license in DE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or related field.
• Current and active LNHA license in Delaware is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience in the senior living industry.
• Strong regulatory, financial management, and care-excellence understanding.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to lead a diverse team and drive occupancy and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the property with a culture of excellence and compassion.
• Oversee day-to-day operations including resident care, dining, facilities, and admin.
• Develop and implement policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Collaborate with department heads to optimize efficiency and resident satisfaction.
• Build relationships with residents, families, staff, and community partners.
• Drive occupancy, revenue growth, and overall financial performance.
• Lead recruitment, training, and development of a high-performing team.
• Serve as liaison to Regional Directors with regular updates on performance.
