Job summary

Elite Hospice, a part of LHC Group within the Optum family, seeks an Executive Director to serve as the Administrator of the home health provider. The role oversees day-to-day operations, staff motivation, and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities include supervising patient care planning, ensuring eligibility, and leading administrative practices to profitability. A current RN license and supervisory experience in home health are required.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN licensure with 1+ years supervisory or administrative experience in home health care.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance; access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• Preferred: CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• Home care experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Able to work independently.
• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and oversees day-to-day operations of the home health provider.
• Oversees eligibility of patients referred to home care services and plans provided services.
• Implements and maintains administrative practices, agency philosophy, goals, and policies to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Enhances profitability and motivates/retains staff while ensuring quality of services delivered.
• Acts as liaison with management staff and other departments.
