Job summary

The American Heart Association seeks an Executive Director in Denver, CO to lead fundraising programs and volunteer engagement, driving revenue for Heart Ball, Heart Challenge, and Go Red for Women. This is a strategic leadership role with responsibility for staffing the board and cultivating high-level sponsors in the Denver region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of fundraising or volunteer management experience.
• 5 years of managerial experience with a sales or fundraising team.
• Experience in major donor and corporate sponsorships.
• Experience recruiting, engaging, and activating executive-level volunteers.
• Proven ability to lead and achieve aggressive goals.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and manage volunteers to support fundraising goals.
• Achieve revenue targets for Heart Ball, Heart Challenge, and Go Red campaigns.
• Secure corporate donations and sponsorships.
• Cultivate major donors and foundation gifts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to drive initiatives in defined markets.
