Job summary

Cetera Financial Group seeks a Managing Director, Enterprise Performance & Value Creation to lead the Performance Enhancement Office and partner with the Head of PEO in driving enterprise-value initiatives. You will integrate strategy, finance, analytics, and capital-allocations insights to support Board-level decisions and investor narratives.

The role develops leadership across cross-functional programs, mentors talent, and ensures a cohesive performance framework across the organization.

Qualifications

• Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking.
• Experience in leveraged, PE-backed environments.
• Strong understanding of value drivers and capital allocation.
• Executive presence with Boards, lenders, investors.
• Ability to translate data into actionable executive narratives.
• Experience leading cross-functional strategic initiatives.
• Mentoring and leadership development capabilities.
• 10+ years in related value creation roles.
• Financial services and wealth management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategy into financial models, value drivers, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to enhance enterprise value through pricing and capital deployment.
• Lead enterprise-level strategic analysis addressing growth and profitability.
• Support capital planning, stress testing, and deployment decisions.
• Own cash sweep analytics and balance sheet optimization analyses.
• Prepare executive, Board & investor narratives and materials.
• Oversee Enterprise Finance & Capital Strategy and Strategy, Insights & Value Creation capabilities.
• Develop future talent and leadership bench strength.
