The YMCA of South Hampton Roads is seeking an Executive Director to provide cause-driven leadership and oversee day-to-day operations at the assigned location.

Responsibilities include staff supervision, volunteer management, fiscal stewardship, program development, and community relations. Strong financial management, fundraising, and partnership building are essential for success in this leadership role within a long-standing nonprofit.

Qualifications

• Strong business operations background with proven growth and financial management.
• Five or more years of successful management experience, preferably in YMCA or nonprofit.
• YMCA Multi-Team Leader certification preferred.
• Ability to lead operations including staff development and budgets.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Human Services, Business Management, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the assigned location.
• Lead annual giving campaigns.
• Develop budgets and manage financial performance.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop staff and volunteers.
• Build community partnerships and represent the YMCA locally.
