Job summary

Okcnp seeks an Executive Director to lead the Commission’s operations and advance its mission of strengthening communities through service in Oklahoma City.

The role requires strategic leadership, financial oversight, and effective relationship-building with government officials, partners, and communities to maximize impact and ensure responsible stewardship of public funds and grant resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in public administration, business, nonprofit management, political science or related field.
• Experience with budgets, grant management, and financial accountability.
• Ability to manage programs, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with policies and funding requirements.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills with government officials, leaders, staff, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations to promote effectiveness and responsible use of resources.
• Implement approved policies and procedures and recommend improvements as needs evolve.
• Coordinate with AmeriCorps agency and Oklahoma programs to manage performance and compliance.
• Monitor budgets, grant funds, expenditures, and financial reporting.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state requirements and promote accountability.
