Job summary

The Diocese of St. Augustine is seeking an Executive Director of the Catholic Foundation to lead fundraising, endowment growth, and donor stewardship within a Catholic mission.

You will work with the Bishop, Chief Development Officer, and Board to design strategy, manage budgets, report on progress, and cultivate major gifts while advancing diocesan priorities. You will lead a team, collaborate with diocesan leaders, and represent the Foundation in community and parish settings to secure ongoing

Qualifications

• Must be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with the Catholic Church.
• At least a bachelor’s degree is required.
• Five years of proven performance in strategic leadership in development; major gifts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and manage a comprehensive development strategy to secure financial support.
• Advise board, officers, and Bishop on issues related to the Foundation and report on performance.
• Oversee governance, onboarding, and ongoing support for board members.
• Provide leadership to direct reports and manage budgets, reports, and communications.
• Identify and build relationships with donors and maintain long-term donor engagement.
