Job summary

The Catholic Foundation of the Diocese of St. Augustine seeks an Executive Director to work with the Chief Development Officer in overseeing day-to-day operations, managing resources, administration, events, and a foundation team.

The role leads fundraising strategy, endowment oversight, donor cultivation, and board governance while ensuring alignment with diocesan bylaws and mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Five+ years of strategic leadership in development.
• Experience with capital campaigns and endowments preferred.
• Must be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Foundation Board, Chief Development Officer and Bishop to design development strategy aligned with diocesan objectives.
• Advise the Board and leadership with timely status reports on performance and financials.
• Oversee governance, agendas, minutes, bylaws and board development.
• Provide leadership to direct reports and ensure mission-focused operations.
• Prepare reports and promotional materials to communicate fundraising data.
