Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Newark, Delaware, seeks an Executive Director in Prime Financial Services Operations to lead cash settlements, cash movements, and daily control execution, ensuring a strong client experience and risk management across institutional and retail clients.

You will partner with global stakeholders to monitor, analyze, and resolve complex processing issues, drive modernization of payments workflows, and deliver transparent management reporting while advancing control

Qualifications

10+ years in financial services operations, program management, or client service.
Experience supporting market-wide payments change initiatives (ISO 20022 or similar).
Experience with trade settlements and lifecycle processing.
Ability to identify opportunities for AI and automation in workflows.
Experience leading AI-enabled analytics or workflow automation adoption.
Knowledge of cash processing and market settlement practices.
Experience operating within a control framework, including risk identification, escalation, and remediation.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience partnering with technology teams on process or platform changes.
Experience producing management reporting and presenting updates to senior stakeholders.
Certification: FINRA Series 99 active or ability to obtain within 120 days.

Responsibilities

Lead cash settlements, cash movements, and daily control execution.
Partner with global stakeholders to monitor, analyze, and resolve processing issues.
Drive modernization initiatives impacting payments and operational workflows.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of broker-dealer cash activity.
Collaborate with technology partners on system integration, workflow design, and control enhancements.
Engage daily with internal stakeholders, counterparties, agent banks, and custodian banks.
Identify trade and settlement discrepancies, assess root causes, and reduce recurrence.
Oversee KPIs and thresholds to drive performance improvement.
Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and controls.
Prepare management reporting and presentations, including risk themes and trends.
