Qualifications

• A Master's degree in a relevant area with 10+ years of experience or a Bachelor's with 12+ years of experience.
• Experience leading professionals and teams at a strategic level.
• Ability to interpret complex business and financial information for decision making.
• Experience collaborating with campus leaders while advancing a complex organization's objectives.
• A track record of balancing collaboration and financial sustainability.
• Familiarity with higher education systems and policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain oversight for and inspire continuous improvement among the units for which the position is responsible.
• Build in-depth understanding of how each unit operates to ensure alignment with university priorities.
• Maintain working knowledge of how each unit impacts partners to maximize mutual benefit.
• Ensure operations drive net revenues while maintaining excellent service for the campus community.
• Collaborate with the President's office, Provost, Research, Finance, Facilities & Advancement when appropriate.
• Participate in planning, development, analysis and implementation of projects and strategic initiatives.
• Act as convenor for campus-wide discussions on auxiliary unit issues and opportunities.
• Participate in policy development with the lens of auxiliary operations.
• Handle other projects and initiatives assigned by the Vice Chancellor.
