Job summary

Stanford University School of Medicine's Biomedical Data Science (BMDS) graduate program seeks to promote research and training in the design of novel methods to solve challenging problems in the biomedical domain. We are recruiting an Executive Director who will be responsible for the operational management and strategic growth of the BMI program.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution and analysis of complex functions or programs with significant business, regulatory and/or technical challenges.
• Manage the administration and evaluation of programs or functions; ensure policy compliance.
• Represent the program at the university level and to external/internal stakeholders.
• Develop and manage outreach strategy including relationship development and communications.
• Oversee or supervise staff in the development and implementation of programs or functions.
• May develop and/or oversee budgets; monitor, analyze, forecast and report finances.
• Other duties may also be assigned.
