Stanford University School of Medicine seeks an Executive Director to lead the SU-AITC, spanning Stanford and VA Palo Alto Health Care System, advancing AI-assisted precision interventions for older adults with AD/ADRD. The role oversees planning, operations, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and fundraising, representing the center at the university and with funders and partners.

The Executive Director serves as SME on human-subjects research and sIRB processes, guiding training and outreach

Formación

• PhD (or equivalent) in aging studies, brain and cognitive sciences, neuroscience, psychology, public health, computational or data science, or bioengineering.
• Five+ years leading research programs, research operations, or center administration in an academic/medical setting.
• Demonstrated clinical trial experience including regulatory aspects.
• Hands-on IRB experience (sIRB) and related regulatory requirements.
• Strong human-subjects research knowledge, potentially involving older populations.
• Experience leading multi-site programs with budgets and events.
• Experience developing outreach and fundraising with sponsors or partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to coordinate across institutions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead planning and operations for programs with significant regulatory and technical challenges requiring SME expertise.
• Evaluate programs, identify issues, and propose changes to policies and procedures.
• Review trends and advise on goals of the program or function.
• Represent the program at the university level and to external stakeholders and constituencies.
• Develop outreach strategy and management of fundraising activities.
• May develop and oversee budgets and finances, including forecasting and reporting.
• May supervise staff and coordinate training as needed.
