Stanford University is seeking an Executive Director to lead the SU-AITC, a national AI and technology collaboratory housed in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. The role oversees planning, operations, budgeting, outreach, and fundraising across Stanford and VA Palo Alto sites, while ensuring human-subjects research and IRB compliance.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years leading research programs, research operations, or center administration.
• Demonstrated clinical trial experience including regulatory aspects.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to coordinate across institutions.

Responsabilités

• Lead planning and operations for programs with significant regulatory and technical challenges.
• Evaluate programs and policies; identify issues and propose alternatives.
• Review trends to advise on goals and modify program direction.
• Represent the program within the department, to external stakeholders and funders.
• Develop outreach strategy and oversee fundraising activities.
• Manage finances including budgeting, forecasting and reporting; oversee staff.
• May supervise staff and ensure training needs are met.
