Job summary

Nbutexas is seeking an Upscale Dining Room Manager to lead busy dining rooms with calm, confident leadership and a focus on elevated service at scale. This role emphasizes floor leadership, staff development, and seamless guest experiences within a storied Chicago-area restaurant group.

The candidate will manage dining room operations, collaborate with culinary teams, and drive consistent service standards across peak periods while fostering a culture of mentorship and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in upscale or fine-dining full-service restaurant.
Strong knowledge across wine, spirits, and beer, including tableside service.
Hands-on leadership to guide servers, hosts, and bar staff during peak service.
Ability to train, coach, and provide in-the-moment feedback to develop a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

Lead from the floor with confidence and operational discipline.
Oversee dining room flow, pacing, seating strategy, and floor operations.
Collaborate with culinary teams to maintain timing, quality, and presentation standards.
Resolve guest issues professionally and warmly.
