Job summary

Proofpoint seeks a Principal Cyber Risk & Strategy Advisor to serve as a high-visibility thought leader within our enterprise services team. You will bridge technical controls with corporate risk management and craft strategic roadmaps that maximize client security outcomes.

You will engage C-suite executives at global enterprises, translating risk into tailored, high-value service solutions, with frequent collaboration across product, marketing, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of consulting or enterprise leadership in data security programs.
• Strong track record influencing C-suite decision-makers and aligning services with business goals.
• Deep knowledge across DSPM, Enterprise DLP, CASB/Isolation, ITM, and Incident Response.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic discovery with enterprise clients and translate risk profiles into commercial service proposals.
• Build executive roadmaps and influence CISOs, CIOs, and Board members on multi-year data protection programs.
• Represent Proofpoint at executive forums and industry events to shape market perspective.
• Collaborate with Services PM, Marketing, and Engineering to capture client insights and market trends.
• Advise clients on regulatory shifts and evolving threat landscapes to drive growth.
