Job summary

BoulderCentre for Orthopedics & Spine is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to provide executive leadership across the organization’s operational and administrative functions.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO will be a key partner to the CEO and physician leadership in developing and executing BCO’s strategic priorities and will have broad accountability for the practice’s operational, financial, and administrative performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive healthcare operations leadership.
• At least 5 years of senior-management experience within a physician group practice or similar.
• Experience leading through managers and multiple operational functions.
• Strong understanding of physician practice operations, revenue cycle, financial management, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute BCO’s strategic plan and operating priorities.
• Lead market analysis, opportunities for expansion, and new service lines.
• Oversee clinic operations, imaging, therapy, and facilities across Boulder and Broomfield.
• Manage budgets, revenue cycle performance, and vendor contracts.
• Partner with CEO, CFO, and physician leadership to drive growth and operational excellence.
