Job summary

BoulderCentre for Orthopedics & Spine is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer to provide executive leadership across the organization’s operational and administrative functions.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO will partner with physician leadership in developing and executing BCO’s strategic priorities and will have broad accountability for the practice’s operational, financial, and administrative performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive healthcare operations leadership experience.
• 5+ years in senior-management within a physician group or comparable healthcare organization.
• Demonstrated experience leading through managers and overseeing multiple operational functions.
• Strong understanding of physician practice operations, revenue cycle, financial management, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic plan with CEO and physician leadership and execute annual operating priorities.
• Oversee clinic operations, revenue cycle, HR, compliance, marketing, facilities, IT, and therapy.
• Establish meaningful operating metrics and dashboards for performance accountability.
• Lead organizational adoption of technology, including EHR optimization and AI-enabled tools.
• Support physician recruitment and practice development with executive leadership.
