Job summary

Facility Improvement Corporation in Great Falls, MT is seeking an experienced Controller to lead the accounting function and partner with ownership on the executive leadership team.

You will drive monthly close, financial reporting, forecasting, cash flow management, and compliance while building scalable processes to support growth. This role offers an opportunity to influence strategy, improve systems, and guide the company through its next stage of expansion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years of accounting and finance experience.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong experience with: Month-end close, accrual accounting, revenue recognition, WIP accounting, inventory accounting, cash flow forecasting, financial statement preparation, Advanced Microsoft Excel, reporting and dashboards, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations and month-end/year-end close.
• Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and management reporting.
• Maintain balance sheet integrity through timely reconciliations.
• Develop executive reporting, financial analysis, and KPI dashboards.
• Translate financial data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Develop and improve cash flow forecasting process.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable and drive collections.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and optimize cash flow.
• Ensure payroll is accurate and timely; support audits and tax prep.
