Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a savvy communications professional to shape narrative strategy and craft messaging in the CEO’s voice for fireside chats, earnings remarks, podcasts, media interviews, and company-wide meetings.

The role monitors external conversation, flags emerging narratives, and works across teams to ensure consistent positioning and timely responses in a fast-moving tech landscape.

Qualifications

8+ years in executive communications or related field.
Portfolio of speeches, op-eds, or executive messaging in someone else’s voice.
Experience writing for a CEO or senior spokesperson.
Strong news judgment and familiarity with media monitoring or social listening tools.

Responsibilities

Monitor external narrative across news, social platforms, podcasts, and commentary.
Maintain a living messaging bank to ensure consistency across CEO appearances.
Ground content in transcripts and past remarks to avoid contradictions.
Provide timely, concise reads on emerging narratives and advise on engagement.
Collaborate with Product PR, Government Affairs, IR, and other teams to align messaging.
Draft cue cards, talks, scripts, and prep materials under tight deadlines.
Support media interviews by researching outlets and flagging key takeaways.
Own the CEO’s LinkedIn presence by writing posts and managing the content calendar.
