Harbor Group Management Company is seeking a General Manager for a commercial office property in the Norfolk, VA area. You will oversee rent collection, maintenance, tenant interfacing, and annual budget operation, working closely with the leasing agent to showcase the property to prospective tenants.

Responsibilities include supervising 1-8 building maintenance staff, preparing financial reports, and coordinating vendor services.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum seven years of commercial property management experience, including Class A.
• Strong financial acumen with budgeting and CAM reconciliations.
• Familiarity with building systems, lease negotiation, documentation, and administration.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to handle multiple projects.

Aufgaben

• Direct day-to-day management of a commercial property.
• Discuss terms of management services with tenants and define scope and costs.
• Lead customer service programs and interact with tenants, visitors, and staff.
• Coordinate vendors and service providers per contracts and budgets.
• Supervise maintenance staff and oversee staffing needs.
• Prepare operating and financial reports, occupancy forecasts, and lease expirations.
• Collect rents and manage client accounts for receipts and disbursements.
• Hire, train, and evaluate employees; address workplace issues.
