Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking a Shop Manager in Illinois to lead daily operations of a high-volume collision repair facility. You will oversee front and back of shop from vehicle intake through delivery, ensuring throughput, quality and efficiency while maintaining safety and compliance.

The role requires experience with estimating workflows, mentoring teammates, and achieving KPIs; compensation aligns with a comprehensive benefits package and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of collision industry procedures and carrier requirements.
• Aptitude in decision-making and problem solving.
• Ability to lead and collaborate to meet objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver results.
• Proficient use of CCC ONE Total Repair Software for estimates.
• Proficient with computers and technology.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed location revenue goals and KPIs; manage front and back of shop from intake to delivery.
• Labor assignment and production management for body repairs and teardown/paint priority.
• Support teammates during peak times; greet customers, check-in vehicles, write estimates as needed.
• Ensure repairs meet Crash Champions and I-CAR standards; accurate billing; PPE compliance.
• Oversee payroll and staffing; manage punch-in/out, PTO, and leave procedures.
• Coordinate daily production flow with Body Technicians, Estimators, Parts Managers to meet delivery requirements.
• Write DRP-compliant estimates after disassembly and damage discovery; update estimates as needed.
• Recruit, interview, and coach teammates for performance and progression opportunities.
