New York City Department of Investigation (DOI) seeks a Deputy Commissioner/Chief Compliance and Equal Employment Opportunity Officer to lead agency compliance and EEO efforts. The role reports to the Commissioner with dotted-line to General Counsel and Deputy Commissioner of Investigations.

Qualifications

• JD degree from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar membership from any of the 50 states, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the US Virgin Islands.
• Minimum of three years of recent full-time relevant legal experience after admission to any bar.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement agency policies related to investigations and operations to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Provide guidance on operational matters involving compliance, ethics, internal controls, and enterprise risk management.
• Oversee internal and external audits and monitor reporting obligations.
• Conduct internal investigations into misconduct or policy violations.
• Lead training programs on agency policies, compliance obligations, and ethics.

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from ABA-accredited law school
