Job summary

City of New York’s Department of Design and Construction, Office of Equal Employment Opportunity seeks an Investigator to support EEO investigations, counseling and compliance. Responsibilities include interviews, fact-finding, data analysis, and preparing reports using Excel, CHRMS, CEEDS, and other systems.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree and two years of experience in community work or related duties.
• High school diploma and six years of related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience with at least one year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews and investigations; prepare reports and summaries.
• Analyze data, conduct surveys and audits; track workforce demographics and trends.
• Assist with outreach, compliance, and coordination to address workplace concerns and ensure EEO laws are followed.
