The City of New York's Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) seeks an Agency Attorney for CEI to lead investigations, enforce EEO policies, and deliver clear investigative reports. You will work with agencies citywide to guide compliance and support equitable employment practices.

Applicants must be admitted to the NYS Bar, with one year of legal experience post-admission or six months as an Agency Attorney Intern, and possess sound judgment for complex investigations and

• Admission to the New York State Bar and good standing.
• One year of U.S. legal experience after bar admission or six months as an Agency Attorney Intern.
• Ability to manage complex investigations and prepare well-reasoned reports.

Responsabilidades

• Manage relationships with agency EEO personnel and provide guidance on policy interpretation.
• Assess inquiries and process questions and take appropriate actions.
• Lead multiple complex EEO investigations through to completion with minimal oversight.
• Prepare well-written investigative reports with recommendations based on facts.
• Oversee CEI projects and supervise staff as needed.
• Coordinate with City Law Department and other authorities as required.
• Conduct legal research on EEO issues and relevant legislation.
• Travel to meet city officials, employees and the public as part of investigations.
