StoryPoint Brownsboro in Louisville, KY is seeking an Executive Chef to lead the culinary and dining program for our senior living community. You’ll manage food costs, inventory, safety, and menu development while mentoring staff and ensuring resident and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has upscale dining experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with special events and catering is a plus.

Formación

• Certified Executive Chef preferred.
• Minimum four years of industry and culinary management experience.
• Upscale dining experience required.
• Proven leadership abilities, excellent customer service, and strong organization and time management.
• Experience with menu development and pricing.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Culinary labor, food and small ware financial management experience.

Responsabilidades

• Achieve 100% resident satisfaction through plate presentation and taste; circulate dining rooms for feedback.
• Establish presentation techniques and ensure quality standards.
• Hire, coach, train, inspire and direct culinary staff; manage scheduling and reviews.
• Develop Sous Chef and Lead Cook for additional leadership duties.
• Direct food control, labor costs, menu engineering, recipe creation and standardization.
• Ensure proper equipment operation, safety and sanitation policies.
• Oversee catering events and demonstrate culinary techniques.
• Maintain a positive team environment and support resident relations.
• Act as Manager on Duty as scheduled with site leadership.
