Job summary

Compass Group USA, a leader in foodservice and support services, is seeking an Executive Chef to oversee both culinary and food service operations. You will manage inventory, sourcing, menu development, and cost controls while driving sustainability and quality across offerings.

The role emphasizes P&L accountability, contract-managed service experience, and leadership in a large, diverse environment with a focus on local sourcing and excellent guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Must have a working knowledge of HACCP.
• Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant with inventory and purchasing control.
• Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Experience with exposition cooking.
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Full culinary management of food service operation including inventory, ordering, and receiving.
• Proficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing, and inventory with a focus on sourcing and utilizing local food products.
• Possesses a passion for sustainability.
