Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a growth-minded Chef Manager to oversee the culinary and food service operation at our site. You will manage all aspects of food production, inventory, purchasing, and menu development to deliver quality meals and service for clients.

The role emphasizes cost controls, sustainability, HACCP compliance, and strong leadership in a contract foodservice setting across multiple sites.

Qualifications

Must have working knowledge of HACCP.
Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining setting, or restaurant with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control.
Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
Experience with exposition cooking.
Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

Full culinary management of food service operation to include inventory, ordering and receiving.
Proficiency in menu development and cost controls with focus on sourcing and local products.
Maintain standards for sanitation, quality and presentation.
Lead and develop team to ensure consistent service delivery.
