Sports & Social Allentown is seeking an Executive Chef to lead the kitchen of a 10,000-square-foot sports bar and lounge in downtown Allentown.

You will manage day-to-day culinary operations, cost controls, inventory, and staff while ensuring top quality, sanitation, and guest satisfaction. This is a full-time role requiring strong leadership and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; culinary courses preferred.
• 2–4 years supervising kitchen staff in a high-volume setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with inventory and food ordering.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day culinary operations and staffing.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and proper uniforms.
• Maintain costing and documentation for dishes.
• Conduct inventory and set min/max stock levels.
• Ensure safety and sanitation per Health Dept standards.
• Train and lead kitchen staff; mentor new hires.
• Interact with guests to resolve service issues.
• Control BOH food costs and manage ordering.
• Recruit, interview, and hire supervisory/hourly staff.
