Job summary

The Terraces of Boise, a HumanGood community in Boise, ID, is seeking an Executive Chef to lead culinary production and kitchen operations for our dining program. You will ensure food quality, menu execution, sanitation, and resident satisfaction across levels of care.

The role partners with the Director of Dining Services to deliver a hospitality-centered dining experience, overseeing staff and safety while managing production and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of culinary management experience.
• Culinary degree preferred.
• High-volume production and healthcare dining experience are essential.
• ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification or ability to obtain.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily culinary production and kitchen operations.
• Ensure meals are prepared safely, accurately, attractively, and consistently.
• Supervise culinary staff including sous chefs, cooks, and support staff.
• Plan production sheets, recipes, timelines, and inventory control.
• Collaborate with the Director of Dining Services on menus, purchasing, and budgeting.
• Coordinate with dining room leadership for service timing and presentation.
