Job summary

Laurel Crest Retirement Community, part of Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina, seeks an Executive Chef to lead the culinary team and supervise the food production process with a focus on quality and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required.
• Three years in a supervisory culinary role.
• ServSafe Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise quality standards and food production processes.
• Plan and execute special events.
• Monitor guest meal surveys and drive improvements.
• Visit dining areas to assess satisfaction.
• Ensure portions, minimize waste, and maintain high presentation.
• Develop menus meeting resident preferences and cost objectives.
• Maintain QA files and logs.
• Ensure HACCP and infection control standards.
• Lead culinary staff including cooks and utility workers.
