Job summary

Still Hopes Episcopal Retirement Community in South Carolina is seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee the back of house and lead a caring culinary team in delivering high-quality meals to residents. You will ensure food safety, maintain sanitation standards, and drive a positive, efficient kitchen culture.

You will design menus tailored to dietary needs, supervise staff, manage inventory and budgets, and collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless meal service for residents.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in food service management.
• Driver's License.
• ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all kitchen activities, including meal preparation, cooking, and presentation.
• Plan and design menus that cater to residents' dietary needs and preferences.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including storage, sanitation, and cleanliness.
• Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff.
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage budget considerations.
