Job summary

Sodexo Live! Airline Lounges in New York seeks an Executive Chef to lead culinary operations for the American Express Centurion Lounge at JFK International. This hands-on leadership role delivers an elevated guest experience and requires strong scratch-kitchen expertise.

You will drive menu development, coach top culinary talent, and oversee training and standards across high-volume environments. Nights, weekends, and holidays are required, with a focus on quality, safety, and hospitality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of management experience in culinary operations.
• 3 years of related experience in high-volume or multi-unit environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead culinary operations at scale, delivering consistent quality across complex, high-volume accounts.
• Drive menu creation, recipe development, and culinary innovation.
• Coach and develop talent, oversee training, and uphold safety and quality standards.
• Improve efficiency through plate costing, inventory control, and system use.
