Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an experienced Executive Chef for a growing upscale casual restaurant group. This hands-on culinary leader will drive food quality, cost control, and team development in a collaborative environment.

You will oversee daily kitchen operations, mentor culinary managers, and partner with restaurant leadership to enhance guest satisfaction and operational performance. Local candidates in Dublin/Columbus area preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of culinary leadership, including Exec Chef roles.
• Experience in full-service or upscale casual dining.
• Proven ability to lead teams and develop culinary talent.
• Strong food cost, labor management, purchasing and inventory knowledge.
• Local to Dublin/Columbus area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Recruit, train and develop culinary managers and team members.
• Manage food and labor costs, purchasing, inventory, scheduling, payroll.
• Maintain recipe standards, food safety and sanitation.
• Collaborate on menu development and culinary improvements.
• Partner with leadership to improve operational performance and guest satisfaction.
• Foster a positive, accountable kitchen culture.
