P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. in Indianapolis is seeking an Executive Chef or Head Chef to lead the culinary team and oversee all kitchen operations, including hiring, training, inventory, and cost control. This is a full-time salaried role reporting to the Operating Partner or General Manager.

The Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager will drive operational excellence, staff development, and adherence to safety and quality standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of culinary management experience.
• Experience writing prep lists and managing kitchen operations.
• Able to stand for long hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Driver’s license for occasional duties.
• Experience managing inventory and costs.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for operational excellence in the kitchen.
• Delegate tasks and direct kitchen staff.
• Conduct interviews with kitchen management and staff candidates.
• Schedule prep for Sous Chef and kitchen staff.
• Maintain safety certifications and health inspections.
• Manage inventory, cost of goods, and financials.
• Ensure product quality and proper food costs.
