The Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa at the Convention Center in Montgomery, AL seeks a bold and strategic Executive Chef to lead culinary operations across the hotel and convention center, delivering memorable dining experiences at scale from signature restaurant offerings to large-scale banquets and events.

This high-visibility role blends culinary creativity with operational excellence; a leader who mentors teams, manages P&L, cost controls, and ensures compliance with health and safety

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of progressive Executive Chef or senior culinary leadership experience in high-volume hotel or resort environments.
• Experience managing large-scale banquet and catering operations alongside a full-service restaurant.
• Strong financial acumen, including P&L ownership, cost controls, inventory management, and procurement.
• ServSafe Manager certification (or ANSI-accredited equivalent) and working knowledge of Health Department regulations and FDA Food Code standards.
• A leader who develops people, builds trust, and sets a clear culinary vision.
