Job summary

You will forecast, price, and close opportunities for conventions and events, with Marriott experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Progressive full-service hotel catering sales experience with track record of growing catering or F&B revenue.
• Strong client relationship, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing sales professionals.
• Understanding of forecasting, pace, pricing, contracts, and revenue optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the hotel's catering sales efforts and drive catering, event, and F&B revenue.
• Develop new business while growing relationships with existing clients and accounts.
• Lead, coach, and support the catering sales team with clear goals and accountability for results.
• Partner with the Director of Sales & Marketing on forecasting, pace, pricing, need periods, and strategies to achieve revenue goals.
• Negotiate and close catering opportunities while maximizing revenue through pricing, space utilization, F&B minimums, and upselling.
• Collaborate with Event Management, Culinary, Banquets, Revenue Management, Sales, and Operations to ensure a seamless transition from sale through execution.
