Thomas Cuisine is hiring an Executive Chef in Kirkland, WA to lead our healthcare culinary program. This hands-on leader will set standards for food quality, service, and team culture, while developing menus and managing kitchen operations in a healthcare setting.

The role requires strong leadership, a passion for quality, and experience in healthcare, hospitality, or scratch cooking. This is a full-time, on-site position with a salary in the 111k–113k range plus bonus potential.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of Executive Chef or senior culinary leadership experience in healthcare food service.
• Strong scratch-cooking background with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or similar structured environments preferred.
• Ability to lead teams, manage operations, and uphold high standards.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and special diets.
• Commitment to service and patient-centered meal delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all culinary operations, including production, service, and sanitation.
• Develop and execute menus prioritizing quality, flavor, nutrition, and presentation.
• Manage food costs, labor, inventory, and budget responsibly.
• Hire, train, mentor, and retain a high-performing culinary team.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with leadership, clinical, and service teams to support resident or patient needs.
• Maintain a positive, hospitality-driven kitchen culture.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
