Sodexo is currently seeking an Executive Chef 2 for Lehigh Valley Hospital – Carbon, a 16-bed facility located in Lehighton, PA. Nestled just outside Allentown, one of the fastest-growing cities in Pennsylvania, and only a short drive from Philadelphia, this location offers the charm of a close-knit community with easy access to major metropolitan areas.

As the Executive Chef 2, you will lead all culinary operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality food across patient dining, retail outlets, and catering services. What You'll Do
  • Oversee daily food production and operations, ensuring consistency and quality across all services.

  • Lead and support a team of frontline culinary staff, providing training, supervision, and development opportunities.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and regulatory guidelines.

  • Maintain high customer satisfaction through strong culinary execution and responsive service.

  • Manage inventory, food and labor costs, and ensure compliance with Sodexo’s Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC).

  • Collaborate effectively with team members and hospital leadership to achieve departmental goals.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
