Key Responsibilities:
  • Innovative Culinary Solutions - Develop creative, high-quality menus tailored to exceed expectations.
  • Menu Development - Design enticing menus for dining halls and catering events.

  • Inventory & Budget Management - Ensure optimal inventory levels while maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Team Leadership & Training - Foster a culture of excellence through training in food prep, safety, and sanitation.
  • Financial Oversight - Meet food and labor targets while upholding quality and portion standards.
  • Compliance & Safety - Maintain strict adherence to health, sanitation, and safety regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • B.S. Degree in Culinary Arts, Food Services Technology/Management, or related field; or A.O.S. Degree in Culinary Arts or culinary certification with required experience.
  • Minimum of three to five years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, depending on formal degree or training.
  • Experience in high-volume, complex foodservice operations is highly desirable.
  • Institutional and batch cooking experience.
  • Hands-on chef experience required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends, quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, email, and internet.
  • Willingness to participate in patient satisfaction programs/activities.
  • ServSafe certification is highly desirable.
