Michelin Bib Gourmand & James Beard Nominated Restaurant

Hop Alley is seeking a new Executive Chef to lead our kitchen after 9 years. We're an award winning, trend setting, modern Chinese restaurant located in the Rino Arts District.

We're looking for a true leader who is not only talented and driven, but will also champion the perspective of the first generation Chinese-American culinary diaspora. Professionalism, humility and the utmost hospitality for the team and the guest is of utmost importance.

Responsibilities include but not limited to :

  • Mentor and lead a talented team of 15 cooks and chefs in a professional and respectful manner
  • Financial accountability. Experience with RASI a plus.
  • Ability to grow sales through exceptional execution of daily service, collaborative events and new business ideas
  • Working closely with local farms and purveyors
  • Collaborate with management team on all aspects of restaurant operations
  • Seasonal and regular menu changes
