Job summary

Medhavi Skills University is seeking an Executive – CCTV Surveillance to monitor and manage the university’s surveillance systems, ensure campus safety and security, maintain surveillance records, and support investigations through effective monitoring and reporting.

The role involves coordinating with the security team, reporting incidents, and ensuring confidentiality of surveillance data, with 1–3 years of relevant experience and strong CCTV knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is required or preferred.
• Certification or training in CCTV operations/security management is beneficial.
• 1–3 years of experience in CCTV monitoring or surveillance operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems across the campus.
• Identify and report suspicious activities or safety concerns.
• Maintain surveillance logs and incident reports daily.
• Coordinate with security and departments during emergencies or incidents.
• Retrieve and preserve CCTV footage for investigations and compliance.

Role Overview

The Executive – CCTV Surveillance will be responsible to monitor and manage the university’s surveillance systems, ensure campus safety and security, maintain surveillance records, and support incident investigations through effective monitoring and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems across the university campus.
• Identify and report any suspicious activities, security breaches, or safety concerns.
• Maintain continuous surveillance coverage and ensure all cameras and equipment are functioning properly.
• Coordinate with the security team and relevant departments during emergencies or incidents.
• Retrieve, review, and preserve CCTV footage for investigations and compliance requirements.
• Maintain surveillance logs, incident reports, and daily monitoring records.
• Report technical issues related to surveillance equipment and coordinate with vendors for maintenance.
• Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of surveillance data.
• Assist in crowd management and monitoring during university events and examinations.
• Support compliance with university security policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Certification or training in CCTV operations/security management is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in CCTV monitoring, surveillance operations
• Experience in educational institutions will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems, DVR/NVR operations, and surveillance software.
• Strong observation and analytical skills.
• Good communication and reporting abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and report preparation.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
