  • Conduct applied research and publish in peer‑reviewed journals or conferences.

Role Overview
The Assistant Professor in Computer Science & Engineering at Medhavi Skills University (MSU) will contribute to a skill-integrated, industry-aligned academic ecosystem focused on applied learning, employability enhancement, and outcome-based education. The role integrates teaching, curriculum delivery, applied research, and industry collaboration in alignment with UGC Regulations (as applicable), AICTE norms for technical education, and MSU’s model of competency-based and experiential learning. The incumbent is expected to actively support MSU’s mission of producing industry-ready graduates through hands-on pedagogy, project-based learning, and continuous engagement with evolving technology ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching and Skill-Based Academic Delivery
  • Deliver theory, laboratory, and workshop-based instruction in Computer Science & Engineeringcourses
  • Implement outcome-based education (OBE) with measurable learning outcomes aligned toindustry requirements
  • Conduct project-based learning, case-based instruction, and experiential learning sessions
  • Develop and continuously update course materials aligned with emerging technologies andindustry practices
  • Evaluate student performance through continuous assessment, practical evaluation, andcompetency-based grading
  • Curriculum Development and Industry Alignment
  • Contribute to design and revision of curriculum aligned with NEP 2020, UGC guidelines, andindustry skill frameworks
  • Integrate industry certifications, micro-credentials, and applied modules into academic delivery
  • Participate in academic audits, curriculum benchmarking, and quality enhancement processes(NAAC/NBA/NIRF readiness)
  • Support development of skill labs, simulation environments, and applied learning modules
  • Applied Research, Innovation, and Industry Collaboration
  • Engage in applied research relevant to industry problems and societal challenges
  • Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and reputed conferences (SCIE/ Scopus/Web ofScience preferred)
  • Contribute to consultancy, industry projects, and sponsored research initiatives
  • Support innovation ecosystem through student projects, hackathons, prototypes, and patentdevelopment
  • Collaborate with industry partners for real-world problem statements and solution development
  • Student Mentoring and Employability Development
  • Mentor students for internships, placements, entrepreneurship, and higher studies
  • Guide capstone projects aligned with industry use-cases and applied domains
  • Facilitate skill development in coding, system design, and emerging technologies
  • Support student participation in industry competitions, innovation challenges, and certificationprograms
  • Institutional and Academic Engagement
  • Participate in departmental governance, academic committees, and institutional developmentactivities
  • Contribute to accreditation processes (NAAC, NBA, NIRF) through documentation andacademic inputs
  • Support faculty development programs (FDPs), workshops, seminars, and industry interactionsessions
  • Engage in outreach activities and partnerships with industry and academicinstitutions
Qualifications & Skills Required
  • B.E./B.Tech (or equivalent UG degree) and M.E./M.Tech (or equivalent PG degree) in Computer Science & Engineering or relevant discipline (Information Technology, Computer Applications, or equivalent) with First Class or equivalent CGPA as per norms.
  • Ph.D. in relevant specialization (preferred)
  • Eligibility as per UGC/AICTE norms
