Job summary

Medhavi Skills University is seeking an Adjunct Faculty – Mathematics to deliver undergraduate and postgraduate mathematics courses. Qualifications

• Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Mathematics from a recognized university. A Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related discipline will be preferred.
• NET/SET qualification is desirable where applicable.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate or postgraduate level. Fresh Ph.D. candidates with strong academic credentials may also be considered.
• Demonstrated expertise in core mathematics subjects such as Calculus, Algebra, Differential Equations, Statistics, and Applied Mathematics

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in accordance with the approved curriculum.
• Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, teaching materials, presentations, and problem-solving exercises.
• Design and conduct student assessments, including assignments, quizzes, class tests, and examinations.
• Evaluate and grade student work accurately and within stipulated timelines.
• Maintain student attendance, academic records, and assessment documentation.
• Provide academic guidance, mentoring, and consultation during scheduled office hours or designated student support sessions.
• Foster an interactive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and mathematical inquiry.
• Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital teaching tools for course delivery, assessments, and student engagement.
• Ensure compliance with university academic policies, quality standards, and examination procedures.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum discussions, faculty development activities, and other academic initiatives, as required.
